XRP failed to break above the $3 resistance last week, but there is still room for optimism. Japan-based Metaplanet has acquired 103 BTC worth $11.7 million, bringing it close to surpassing Riot Platforms as the world’s sixth-largest corporate Bitcoin holder. The company’s CEO, Simon Gerovich, said in an Aug. 25 X post that the latest BTC purchase was executed at an average buy price of $113,491 per BTC. BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes says Ethereum (ETH) could soar up to $20K this cycle, fueled by buying from Ethereum treasury firms and “absolutely insane” US money printing.
