The XRP price surged 5% in the last 24 hours to trade at $2.69 as of 3:40 a.m. EST on trading volume that soared 10% to $5.41 billion. The Ripple token’s price surged as the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) acknowledged another XRP ETF filing on Feb. 19, this time from Wisdom Tree. The acknowledgment has triggered a three-week comment period that will allow industry experts, investors, and even the general public to provide input on how the regulator should handle the application.
